Sean ran to the car and, in his peripheral vision, saw Rodolfo recognize the security guards and then run into the street, waving for them to call for an ambulance. Shawn took advantage of the diversion and climbed into the car, where he found Guillermo Cano with multiple bullet wounds but still conscious.
Cano opened his eyes and looked at Sean, blurting out, “Quien eres tu?” (Who are you?)
“Eso no es importante!” yelled Sean. (That’s not important!) Then he leaned over Cano and looked deep into his eyes.
“Answer this to live.”

Sean asked. “Why are you telling me this?”

Nick spoke first. “Maria?” he said, incredulous. It was his Spanish professor from U of I. “What are you doing in L.A.?”
“My real name is Gabriella, and that’s not exactly the look nor the line I was anticipating. After all, you are engaged to be married,” she said to him.
